Director
Jacky Nel, Founder and Director of Luftteile, brings over 20 years of leadership in aviation and finance. She has built Luftteile into a trusted and respected partner for parts, charter, and leasing solutions across Africa. Known for her integrity and collaborative style, Jacky combines strategic insight with entrepreneurial drive, ensuring the company consistently delivers safe, reliable, and innovative services to clients and partners.
Stanton Sommer
Procurement & Charter Operations Controller
Stanton joined Luftteile in 2024, bringing precision and structure to procurement and charter operations. He manages supplier relations, aircraft availability, and compliance, while coordinating flight planning and logistics. With a detail-driven approach, Stanton ensures every transaction meets safety standards. His clarity, reliability, and focus on efficiency make him an essential part of Luftteile’s operations and a trusted partner to clients across Africa.
Pieter van Tonder
Parts Sales Coordinator
Pieter joined Luftteile in 2025, bringing more than 40 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and operations across aviation, agriculture, and military service. At Luftteile, he manages parts sales and inventory with professionalism and precision, ensuring timely solutions for clients. Pieter’s knowledge, versatility, and dependable service strengthen the team’s expertise and support the company’s mission to deliver reliable aviation solutions across Africa.
Paul du Toit
Procurement Officer
Paul has been with Luftteile since 2022 as a Procurement Officer, with over 50 years of experience in aviation logistics and maintenance. His career spans the South African Air Force, commercial aviation, and consulting, where he built expertise in procurement and compliance. At Luftteile, Paul manages sourcing, quotations, and administration with precision and care, ensuring clients receive reliable support backed by decades of aviation knowledge.
Femi Peters
Director of Continuous Airworthiness
Femi joined Luftteile in 2025 as Director of Continuous Airworthiness, with over 20 years of experience in maintenance planning and compliance. Having worked in Nigeria and South Africa, he brings technical expertise and leadership to ensure the highest safety standards. At Luftteile, Femi oversees airworthiness management, guiding technical excellence while supporting the company’s growth as a trusted aviation partner across the continent.

Airworthiness & Maintenance Planning Specialist
